Respecting The Rescue: The only dogs allowed on the class floor will be the rescue and no food or treats will be allowed on the class floor.
Spectators are NOT Allowed: To ensure the safety, privacy, and comfort of participants and event staff/volunteers.
Event Participants: The recommended age is 12+ to attend a public class, however, children who are able to behave appropriately in a yoga class are welcome with a legal guardian. We ask all event attendees to have a great time while remaining respectful of those around them.

Doggy Noses and Yoga Poses turns EIGHT this August and now, more than ever, we all need an excuse to celebrate so we are announcing the DAY OF THE DOG taking place on Sunday August 10, 2025.
To mark the occasion we are hosting our signature doggy yoga classes at local breweries across the country where you do the poses, we bring the pups and the rescues get a portion of the sales.

DNYP U - Puppy Poses at Saint Joseph's University
Doggy Noses & Yoga Poses' Canines on Campus program is is heading to Saint Joseph's University. Join us for a special doggy yoga class presented by Student Leadership & Activities to benefit One Step Closer Animal Rescue (OSCAR)!
Students will have a chance to practice yoga while adorable rescue puppies roam freely, giving cuddles and puppy kisses as they flow through a relaxing, mixed-level yoga session. Whether you're a seasoned yogi or new to the mat, this event is perfect for everyone—especially if you’re looking for a fun and furry way to relieve school stress!

Monarch Yoga PHL instructor Sarah Thompson will guide you through each calming, 45-minute class while the dogs roam and play.
Puppy Meet & Greet: Snuggle time with rescue puppies 5:45-6:15pm.

This event is exclusively for Saint Joseph's University students and tickets are not available to the general public.
Space is limited to the first 75 participants in each yoga session, and tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Frequently Barked Questions:
Are you a rescue group?
No! We ask different rescue groups to participate in our classes, each of which results in a donation made to the participating group and exposure to new audiences. If you have a question about any of the dogs in our classes, we can put you in touch with the responsible rescue group. We are also not a yoga studio, and we do not own our own venue. We simply bring all the parties together and coordinate the magic for you to enjoy!
Are all your classes puppy yoga classes?
When we first started organizing events, we didn't want to discriminate against any age, breed, or size dogs. That's why we named ourselves "Doggy" Noses & Yoga Poses - not "Puppy" Nose & Yoga Poses! Our classes differ from one to the next because the dogs' personalities are so different class to class. We've held several puppy yoga classes, but we've also had classes with adult dogs, senior dogs (affectionately called "grandpa dogs" by us!), and special needs dogs! Each one is fun in its own way!
Can I volunteer for your organization?
We love that our participants (our #PoserSquad members!) want to lend their time and energy to our cause! However, due to our policy of maintaining a safe and comfortable atmosphere for yogis to practice in, we only allow our Event Managers and the rescue group volunteers on the floor to handle the dogs. As we expand to new regions, we do actively look for Event Managers to join our team. Feel free to drop us a line to inquire about that position!
Do dogs get adopted at your events?
We've had several success stories resulting from our classes, and we love to share them on our social media pages!
Is Doggy Noses & Yoga Poses™ a non-profit entity?
Doggy Noses & Yoga Poses™ is a socially-conscious for-profit organization with giving at the core of our business. We are a small business with a big heart! By being able to invest back in ourselves, we are able to expand further and donate to many more rescue groups faster. We have been able to help as many rescue groups as we have in such a short amount of time because of the way we are structured!
How much has Doggy Noses & Yoga Poses™ donated?
As of January 2025, we have donated approximately $265,000 to various rescue groups and non-profit organizations. We're proud to have been able to donate this much since our inception in August 2017!
Is there an age requirement for your classes?
We suggest participants be 12 years of age or older.
