DNYP is offering yoga classes on campuses across the nation. We can come to your college/university or high school or after-school program and host one or multiple yoga classes featuring our furry friends.

Mental health concerns among students have increased significantly over the past three years. Many cited lack of social interactions and uncertainty about the future as the top reasons students are reporting higher rates of depression than before the pandemic. Even more frustrating is many students say  their mental health is negatively affecting their academics. 

With all of this to consider, it is critical for schools to address these issues in creative ways outside of the typical campus counseling centers. It goes beyond addressing mental health concerns and finding programs that contribute to the overall wellbeing of their student body. 

The DNYP “Classes on Campus” program utilizes the health benefits of a physical practice like yoga with the mental health benefits of playing with dogs to create a space for students to relax, unwind and find joy together.

Studies show students who played with dogs for as little as 15 minutes reported feeling “less stressed, more energetic and happier.”
