Looking Ahead: Connection, Community, and Impact at Doggy Noses & Yoga Poses
A Letter from Debra Furstenberg, Founder/Pack Leader of Doggy Noses & Yoga Poses™
As we step into a new year, we’re taking a moment to reflect on the momentum our community has built and more importantly, to look ahead to what’s possible together.
What began as a one-time idea has grown into a nationwide movement rooted in two powerful goals: raising funds and awareness for animal rescue organizations, and creating meaningful connection between people and pups. In 2025 alone, Doggy Noses & Yoga Poses brought the total donated to more than $325,000 for rescues and shelters across the country. That impact is something we carry with us as we move forward.
More Than Yoga With Dogs
While our events are known for joyful moments, dogs wandering through yoga poses, laughter filling the room, and plenty of tail wags; the heart of Doggy Noses & Yoga Poses goes deeper than the experience itself.
At the core of every event is connection. Connection between longtime friends and first-time strangers. Between instructors and students. Between rescue groups and their future supporters. And of course, between humans and dogs. Creating space for those connections to form, often in ways people never expected, is what truly defines our mission.
A Community-Powered Mission
The success and growth of Doggy Noses & Yoga Poses would not be possible without the incredible community behind it. As we look ahead, we’re deeply grateful to:
Venue partners who open their doors and help bring our events to life
Yoga instructors who share their time, talent, and energy
Animal rescue organizations who do lifesaving work every day and still show up to build community
Participants who roll out their mats, show up with open hearts, and leave with smiles
DNYP Pack Members who work tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure our mission continues forward
Each of these groups plays a vital role in expanding our reach and deepening our impact.
Looking Toward 2026 and Beyond
As we move into the year ahead, our focus remains clear: continue raising funds for animal rescues, expand partnerships with studios and shelters, and create even more opportunities for connection through shared, meaningful experiences.
We are incredibly proud of what this community has already accomplished and even more excited for what’s next. With the continued support of our partners, participants, and pack members, we can’t wait to see how much more good we can do together.
