SOS: A Community Event to Support OSCAR Animal Rescue
On Sunday, April 12, the community is coming together for something bigger than a typical wellness event. Join us at Jersey Girl Brewing Company in Hackettstown, NJ for a collaborative, heart-centered experience supporting OSCAR Animal Rescue as they recover and rebuild.
Supporting OSCAR Animal Rescue After a Devastating Fire
Earlier this year, OSCAR Animal Rescue experienced a devastating fire that destroyed their shelter and tragically impacted the dogs in their care. While their animals are now safe in foster homes, the organization is still navigating the early stages of recovery.
This event was created as a collective effort, bringing together local wellness leaders, small businesses, and community members, to support OSCAR during this critical time. Doggy Noses and Yoga Poses is honored to be part of this collaboration.
What to Expect at This Community Wellness Event
This one-of-a-kind event blends movement, relaxation, and giving back.
Yoga + Sound Healing Experience
Certified instructors Erica Coslop (Crunch Fitness), Estefania DiBua (Honor Yoga Hillsborough), Mindy Ficarra (Sl8Roc Fitness), and Alyssia Saporito (GlassDoor Fitness/Riverside Health and Fitness) will each lead a 30-minute mixed-level session. Then immediately after enjoy a 15-minute extended savasana featuring a sound bath and distance reiki led by Nikki Luisi (Monarch Massage).
Your class time will correspond with your ticket selection.
Post-Yoga Pint
After class, unwind in the tasting room with a pint from Jersey Girl Brewing Company (included with your ticket for guests 21+).
Community Vendors + Giving Back
Shop local vendors on-site, with a portion of proceeds supporting OSCAR. Jersey Girl Brewing will also feature a special “Giving Tap,” with donations from each pour going directly to OSCAR’s recovery efforts.
Please note: While Doggy Noses and Yoga Poses typically features rescue dogs at events, there will be no dogs on-site. This allows OSCAR’s dogs the time and space they need to rest and adjust in their foster homes.
